Fueling a Food Truck
Over the past five years, the food truck industry has grown in revenue by 6.8%, making it a 2.7 billion dollar industry, while the number of actual food trucks operating in the U.S. has grown by nearly 13%. This growth is supported by the relatively low barriers to entry and increasing consumer demand for local, authentic, convenient, and affordable fare. For small business owners and entrepreneurs, food trucks provide a low investment option to test the waters before diving into a growing industry.
